• Presentation: Beyond the Front Door by Shannon Kalahar, Senior Director of Strategic Communications, Tampa Bay Partnership
• Keynote address by Leroy Moore, Senior Vice-President/Chief Operating Officer, Tampa Housing Authority and Secretary for the Florida Housing Coalition

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Panel Discussion – Current Housing Challenges and Opportunities

• Moderated by the Builder Producer and Capital Access Leadership Team – HLCTB Board Member and Leadership Team Leader Tori Boyd, Signature Property Development LLC, Signature Property Management of Florida LLC
• Panelists discuss the current state of housing in Tampa Bay, including market trends, challenges, and opportunities
• Focus on securing developable land and accelerating the production of affordable and workforce housing
• Challenges and opportunities given the current funding cycles

• Panelists discuss strategies to increase the number of homeownership opportunities and overcoming barriers to homeownership.
• Focus on increasing the number of first-time home buyers in underserved and/or marginalized communities

Led by the Policy and Capacity Building Leadership Team. HLCTB Board Member and Leadership Team Leader, Layla Hayavi, Director of the North Tampa Housing Development Corporation

• Focus on creative solutions for increasing housing stock, Prefabricated Construction, Tiny Homes, Employer sponsored housing, workforce housing, faith-based housing, in-fill missing middle, and other non-traditional methods to address affordable housing issues
